Jake was suprised she could run so fast while pulling him along, Jake said to Christina "im sorry i was such a nesiance back there, i just get wound up sometimes, im a screw up" Jake said in a hesitant voice. He kept on moving throught the cave. Jake then said to Christina "the way you treated me back there was perfectly normal, i wouldnt accept any less from you, thanks for bein such a good friend and showing me this".

Jake looked at Christina in despair and said to her "i dont know what makes a good friend but I know you are a great friend and i dont carewhat anyone else thinks, if they are your friends only you could tell" Jake continued to stare in to Christina's eyes.

Christina held Jake's gaze. She noticed the colour of his eyes; they were the colour of the sea. She loved the sea, excluding the killer penguins in Antarctica. Jake was there. He knocked himself out though. He was still there.
Drake wasn't
But he's not supposed to know about Everett or anything! It's a surprise for him.
But Jake's here, and Drake isn't.
Christina couldn't look away from Jake. But she couldn't do this to Drake.
What Drake doesn't know won't hurt him...
Quickly, she leaned up and kissed Jake on the lips. The kiss lastest for a few seconds, before Christina pulled away, her face pale and her eyes wide with shock.
Did she really do that? No... no... no...

Jake pulled away from the kiss aswell, he thought to himself what just happend, did she just kiss me or was I illusinating. Jake quickly said to Christina "i think I LOVE YOU, i dont know since when or how, i just do".
Jake took a few steps backwards and said to her "I cant do this to you, you have Drake, ive done this once before and i nearly killed him, if he finds out again he wont stop this time he'll kill me".
Jake couldnt resist Christina kissing him, he didnt care what Drake would do if he found out, he moved forward again and said to Christina "if that kiss was as good for you as it was for me we've got to do it again, lets just see what happens if we do".

Christina shook her head. Her heart was thumping hard, just like it did whenever she was with Drake.
"I'm sorry," she said softly. "You're right. I can't do this to Drake. I love him too much to hurt him. But..."
She didn't complete her sentence; she merely coughed and called out to Kurt and Samara, who were lagging. She slipped her hand into Jake's for a few moments and squeezed.
"Hurry up guys! We don't have all day!"
She let go of Jake's hand and set off further into the tunnel. They were nearly at the site.

Jake sighed in releif when she grabbed his hand for a few seconds he said to Christina "I accept your decision and i know how you feel for Drake and i dont want to be held responsible for reuining that".
Jake walked on throught the cave with Christina next to him, he was so excited but worried about what had just happend, he didnt know what to think".

Kurt put his hand on Samara's shoulder, and ported them both to far infront of Christina, Looking back at her he yelled "HURRY UP, YOUR FALLING BEHIND." He had a huge smile.

Jake yelled out to Kurt "Kurt get back here, I dont want to walk all the way down there, its really hot in this cave", Jake then looked at Christina and said "you dont want to walk do you?, if you do i will walk with you."

Christina rolled her eyes and walked down the tunnel with Jake.
Inside, her brain was working overtime, with thoughts of Drake, the mission, killer penguins, Jake, and the heat.
After a few minutes they reached Kurt and Samara and found themselves in a strange hall, which hundreds of pillars around them, each depicting a different scene. Christina knew a little about the hall; it was called a hypostyle hall, similar to the Great Hypostyle Hall at Karnak, and yes, there was open sky above the central aisle, making it light, but hot. Beyond that would be the temple dedicated to Anubis, the entrance flanked by two thirty foot statues of him.
"Nearly there," she said, and started off towards it, but staying out of the direct sunlight.

Jake caught up to Kurt and Samara, he said carsatically to Kurt "thanks for the lift, very much appreciated".
Jake turned and faced Christina and said to her, "this place is huge, how do we know where were supposed to go ", he walked on through the aisle next to Christina, he could feel the direct sunlight hitting on his skin as he walked through the aisle.

Christina shook her head at Jake, who was walking in full sunlight.
"Get in the shadows Jake," she said as she pulled him over into the shade with her. The opening was only in the central aisle, but other than that, the rest of the hall had a roof, providing cool dark.
"You'll get burned otherwise."
A few minutes later they were at the entrance to the temple. The temple had open sky, but a high hill behind it blocked the sun. There was a corridor after the entrance, the walls covered in hieroglyphics that had been weathered down to be mere shadows in the surface.
But Christina had read about this place, and the information was stored in the computer on the Jet.
Beyond the corridor would be a small chamber, about fifteen metres wide and ten metres deep. Directly opposite was an alcove with a statue of Anubis in it.

Samara felt weird after teleporting with Kurt, but decided to take her mind off it.
She looked at the statue of Anubis.
"Who's that?" she asked no-one in particular.

"That is Anubis. One of the ancient egyptian gods.He was the god of the dead. His head looks like a Jackal, which is basically a dog." Kurt told her.
