Christina goes on a quest to find Horace in order to heal Drake. It turns out Mesmero has taken him prisoner. So, Christina and Mesmero have a final showdown, resulting in the demise of the latter.
When Christina rescues Horace, it comes to light that he can only heal injuries, not illnesses. Being a Class 5 mutant however, he can bring the dead back to life if they die as the result of an injury.
But there is hope for Drake yet.
Horace has a twin brother, John, who does the exact opposite, he heals illnesses, not injuries, and brings back to life people who died of natural causes and illnesses.
But Mesmero had him hung, drawn and quartered and the five pieces of his body were sent across the world and are guarded by Mesmero's minions.
So Christina must recover the pieces so that Horace can bring his brother back to life in order to heal Drake.
