Sasha sat on the edge of the pool, her feet dangling in the cool water. She stared down at the ripples in the water, and a salty tear dripped off her cheek and down into the pool.
She couldn't believe it. Her grandmother was dying. Soon she'd be the only mutant in her family.

A figure creeped up behind Sasha, it sat down and stuck his feet in the water. Steam started rising from the water. A warm hand reached around and pulled Sasha in close. "Hey, Whats wrong?" He asked inquisitively.

Sasha was limp as George pulled her to him.
"My grandmother is dying," she mumbled bitterly, still staring into the pool. "She's the only other mutant in my family. And she's dying."

"Oh, dear." George said, "I haven't had any experience with death before. I am not going to pretend to have any experience with it either, but I'm sorry to hear that."

Sasha blinked slowly.
"I hate not being able to do anything about it," she whispered. "I need to - I need to... heal her or something. She can't just... die!"

"Maybe when we get Everett's peices together, we will be able to heal her." George said, Comfortingly. "And we need you to help us get them." George pulled her into a hug. He was warm.

Sasha nodded. She hadn't thought about Everett.
"Christina's already left," she said slowly. "And besides, my power isn't much use in Egypt. Too hot. I'll go on the next one."

"Psh, my ears are boring," Sasha replied. She cuddled up to George, feeling much happier because he was here when she needed him.
